Difficult problem:

A cyclist and a car-boat 120 miles away. There is a bell on the front of the wheel, traveling at a constant speed of 100 miles per hour. The wheel drive 10 km / h, the car, the 50 mph

At the same time, they go to pass any third party. At some point in the bee found in the car and immediately change direction and fly back to the bike. Then, when the bike comes instantanously turned around and flew towards the car, bicycle, car, bicycle, etc., until finally all meet in the big crash.

The question is how much the trip bees?

Another big problem:

Jeremiah is leaving his house, jogging on a flat road, a hill and then again the same way. When he returned, he found his shift lasted exactly one hour. Jeremiah can run to 8 miles per hour on flat surfaces, 6 mph uphill, downhill and 12 mph How to Run Jeremiah?

Less difficult PROBLEM:

A boat, 45 minutes to 3 hours to go to the same point of interestnt. If the total distance traveled was 24 miles, which is the speed of the river?

Question 1:

A vehicle with a speed of 58 miles and 24 miles at a speed of 5 miles per hour less. If the trip is 3 hours, what the speed of the two parts of the trip?

Question 2:

A 555-mile, 5 hours trip with the plane was moving at two speeds. For the first part of the trip, the average speed was 105 mph Then, the tail wind for the collection, and the rest of the trip was kmh at an average speed of 115th How long the plane has to fly at any speed?

Question 3:

A senior in the house led to an average speed of 30 miles per hour at an airport where a helicopter waited. The Executive climbed into the helicopter and flew to the headquarters, at an average speed of 60 mph The entire route covered 150 miles, the whole trip lasted three hours. Calculate the distance between the airport and the offices of the company.

Question 4:

Out a car and a bus at 2 clock at the same point, going in the same direction. The average vehicle speed is 30 mph slower than twice the speed of the bus. In two hours, the car is 20 miles AcaiaD-Bus. Here you will find the kind of car.

Question 5:

A passenger train left the station 2 hours after a freight train leaves the depot itself. The freight train trip 20 mph slower than the train. Find the speed of each train when the passenger train overtake the freight train in three hours.

Let us assume that the distance is the distance upstream and downstream sectors.

Let = velocity of the river, and RB = speed of the boat.

If you "go down the river" is at a rate of R + B, because the water works of the river "with" the pot.

From physics, D (which is same in both directions) = 1 (R + B).
(It is time to change.)

So different from what goes against the current, (R - B). Therefore, D = 12 (R - B).

But the two D are the same.

Thus, 1 (R + B) = 12 (R - B).
R + B = 12R - 12B.
=- 11R-13B.
R = 13B/11.

Thus the speed of the river 13/11 once told, is the speed of the boat. From this you can find the journey was, for example.

Remember, 1 (R + B) = 1 (13B/11 B +) = 24B/11, etc..

From here you can find almost everything ...

Hope this helps - and it was pretty hard!
